Magic Fountains And Sagrada Famila May 04

There are so many lovely attractions to see on a tour of Barcelona, visitors often have atricky time deciding what to do and what to leave behind for another visit. Irrespective of what attractions you choose, you are not certain to be disappointed if you select them according to your level of interest. Yet it isnot always easy to decide what you may have an interest in if you have never been to Barcelona!

La Sagrada Familia is one of the most intriguing gothic cathedrals you will see anywhere in the world. It is definitely one of the largest. The church was begun under the direction of Gaudi in 1882, and construction continues on this huge cathedral today.

You can learn as much or as little as you like about La Sagrada Familia on your viist. If you wish to find out all about its engaging history and the artwork gracing its faade and towers, you can. Or, you can simply be mesmerized by its sheer scale. A visit to the dizzying heights of the High Tower will be an extraordinary experience, without reference to how much or how very little you have an interest in La Sagrada Familia’s history.
The wizardry Fountain of Montjuic will shock nearly all visitors, although in a much different way than La Sagrada Familia. This big water fountain is the focus of a nightly show featuring lights, music, color and motion. The entire area surrounding the wizardry Fountain is fantastically beautiful, and the show is exciting and entertaining for kids as well as adults of every age.
